Since I'm lazy, I tear up the bread and put it in my food processor. Then turn it on and let the milk, cream, half and half, or whatever I'm using dribble in through the feed tube. Once that is good and pasty, I chuck the ground beef in there and give it a few pulses until it is good and combined.

Did I mention that I'm lazy?

I'm not a big fan of football, honestly I'm not a little fan of it either. My husband has enough love of the game for both of us. We'd both enjoy your meatballs though. First time I've seen a recipe for baked ones and the bread and egg method is totally new to me as well. They look wonderful.
